Terms of Service
1. What this is
The NextXus Truth Verification System (the "System") is an independent, publicly auditable verification utility operated by Roger Keyserling ("Operator"). By submitting a claim through the System or using the public ledger, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. No legal, financial, or medical advice
The System produces machine-graded verifiability scores. Those scores are not legal advice, not financial advice, not a court determination, and not a professional opinion. They are a transparency tool. You are responsible for your own use of any output, including downstream publication or filing decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You may not submit (a) content that is illegal where you reside, (b) private personal data of third parties without consent, (c) content intended to defame, harass, or threaten any person, (d) content automatically generated for the purpose of polluting the public ledger. The Operator may refuse, redact, or amend (never delete) any entry that violates these terms.
4. Append-only ledger
Submissions accepted by the System are permanently recorded in an append-only, hash-chained ledger. By submitting content, you grant the Operator a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to retain and publicly display that content as a verification record. You cannot demand deletion of an accepted entry. You may submit an amendment that references the original.
5. Press passes and Gumroad tokens
Press passes and Gumroad-issued tokens grant a limited, non-transferable right to consume verification capacity. Tokens are not currency, are not refundable once consumed, and have no cash value. Refund eligibility for unconsumed tokens follows Gumroad's policies.
6. No warranty
The System is provided "as is." The Operator makes no warranty that the verification result is correct, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. LLM-based grading is probabilistic and may err. The Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced in the public ledger as a regular entry, preserving the immutable record of the change.
